Andrea Glinn is a senior interior architect and the founder of Kilter Studio, a boutique interior design practice specializing in elevated residential interiors and thoughtful, highly personal homes.
With nearly 20 years of experience in interior architectureand design, Andrea brings a perspective that spans the scale of a home—from architecture and spatial planning to furnishings, materials, art, and the smallest finishing details. Her work is grounded in the belief that the most compelling interiors feel considered rather than contrived: beautiful, comfortable, and deeply connected to the people who inhabit them.
Andrea’s design philosophy was shaped in part by her time studying in Scandinavia, where she developed an enduring appreciation for simplicity, natural materials, craftsmanship, daylight, and the quiet interplay between architecture and nature. Her work often balances clean lines and restrained forms with warmth, texture, organic elements, and layered comfort.
Throughout her career, Andrea has contributed to award-winning residential and commercial projects in Kansas City, New York, Chicago, Austin, Aspen, and San Francisco. Her experience across diverse markets and project types informs a practice that is both highly collaborative and architecturally minded.
Today, she partners with discerning homeowners, architects, builders, and creative collaborators to create homes that are refined but never precious—spaces with a strong sense of place, a distinct point of view, and a feeling that they could only belong to the people who live there.
